As you well appreciate, hope and strength and
excellent medical care are the foundations that help pediatric
patients and their families get through each day. Soaringwords
is a non-profit public charity devoted to helping millions of
ill children and families to “Never give up!” Over the past
seven years, Soaringwords has shared inspiration and programs
with over 150,000 ill children and families nationwide.
Soaringwords the Power to Heal. 10 Secrets
to Overcome Life’s Pain and Obstacles is a book that will
be published in 2008 and supported with a national book tour.
Patients and families who are profiled within the book will
be given autographed copies and invited to attend special events
in their city. Soaringwords the Power to Heal filled
with stories about the synchronistic events and blessings that
led to the creation of Soaringwords. Soaringwords the Power
to Heal will include 72 compelling and heroic behind-the-scenes
narratives of children, parents and healthcare professionals
that illuminate the different ways readers can harness the power
to heal.
Soaringwords invites you to be featured in the book. The stories
can be about you, your parents, siblings, nurses, doctors, strangers,
teachers or friends who did something wonderful to inspire you
or your family. It will be exciting to know that by sharing
stories with Soaringwords you will be giving others comfort
amidst pain. The chapters focus on different aspects of healing
through stories so readers will internalize these powerful tools
to help them and their families to overcome life’s pain and
obstacles. The chapter titles include “The Healing Power of
Laughter…. The Healing Power of Breathing… The Healing Power
of Community… The Healing Power of Synchronicity and Flow… The
Power of Taking Action … The Healing Power of Helping Others…
The Power of Tears… and The Power of Success.
Simply answer the questions and email, fax or mail them to
Soaringwords. Once we select the stories for the book, Soaringwords
will conduct an interview/conversation with you/family to write
up the story. Your last name and confidential information will
not be published in the book. You will receive an autographed
copy of the book, a SoaringCertificate celebrating your contribution,
and they will be featured on the Soaringwords website.
