We have many wonderful Soaringwords events—from our SoaringSchools outreach programs and Soaringwords Community Outreach programs to Soaringwords Youth Leadership Development programs to build awareness and participation in Soaringwords. We also have many Soaringwords celebrations—parties in private homes or companies to "friend-raise" and fund-raise for Soaringwords to help us soar!

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit devoted to helping millions of sick children and their families heal. We appreciate contributions of any size: no amount is too large and no amount is too small.

The idea for creating Soaringwords -- a healing community to embrace millions of ill kids and their families -- came to me one morning when I was walking along the beach during the height of my son’s catastrophic illness, just over four years ago..

In September Nick.com and Nickjr.com websites will start running Soaringwords banner ads inviting millions of kids and parents to visit the Soaringwords Resource Center and do something great to inspire millions of ill kids to “never give up!” Nickelodeon has donated $250,000 in on-line advertising to support Soaringwords.

Make A Difference Day

We are pleased that Soaringwords has been chosen as a national charity partner for USA Weekend's Make A Difference Day, the largest day of volunteering in the U.S.
Soaringwords was also selected as the exclusive charity by The Nia Technique, a dynamic blend of dance arts, martial arts and healing arts.

From September through November, throughout the country, SoaringQuilts® and SoaringPillows® will be decorated by volunteers and donated to thousands of hospitalized children. Nia teachers will be leading exhilarating Dance Jams as part of this community service initiative.
