Waz
up?
The new year is a wonderful time to give yourself the gift of
dreams.
vibrant technicolor dreams that make your heart soar. Calming
tranquil dreams that give you strength and inner space. Expansive
dreams that rock your world.
My new year started in a waking dream on vacation in the Dominican
Republic where we were celebrating my parents' fiftieth wedding
anniversary. No cell phone, no computer, no work. It was really
rejuvenating. January 1st, I was greeted with palm trees, turquoise
water, and an enormous rainbow just minutes after finishing
my morning swim. What a wonderful reminder to appreciate nature's
miracles and the quiet contemplative dream state that is available
to us each day

Soaringwords has many dreams this year -- big dreams of expanding
programs into more hospitals to embrace more ill children and
your families. Dreams of bringing more professional staff, volunteers,
strategic alliance partners into the Soaringwords experience.
Dreams of sharing our hands-on team-building employee volunteer
programs with more companies in the months ahead. This is the
year that I'll fulfill my dream of publishing my first book,
Soaringwords the Power to Heal True Stories of Courage and
Passion to Overcome Life's Obstacles. Perhaps you have
an inspirational story about overcoming life's obstacles that
you'd like to share or you know of a heroic child and family

January is all about diving into the year with gusto. Dr. Martin
Luther King Jr. said, "everyone is great because everyone
can serve." On Martin Luther King Jr. Day we shared Soaringwords
service projects with hundreds of children and families at Children
for Children's Third Annual Service Day in New York City...
and in Upstate New York I presented two workshops at the Limmud
(Learning Conference) which had over 800 participants. We're
busy talking to many companies, schools, synagogues, churches
and community groups about implementing our hands-on team-building
community service programs: especially our signature event --
decorating SoaringQuilts and SoaringPillows with inspirational
messages and artwork to donate to hospitalized children. Give

On January 22, cisco.com launched a new edition of bus-wise
BizWise TV on its website that gets 3 million visitors a month.
